Just know if you pick GT Goku, noone will hold back. The first thing you’ll notice is the presentation: It is absolutely. are they the only worth while purchases? i can get base with broly bardock fpr $20 or almost $30 for a ton of charactors i will probably never use Not only is Dragon Ball FighterZ finally a good Dragon Ball game, but it’s an amazing fighting game in its own right. I have no clue about Kefla as I can't justify just buying one character, and I'm not about to buy any form of season pass for unknown content. (pretty much everyone I've fought so far has used one or the other - or both) Gogeta and Vegito are ultra cheap and really easy to win fights with too. I consider him to be the most fun (and useful) of all the Goku variants. In my opinion the second pass is the one really worth getting just for Goku (GT) I find Videl to be a lot of fun too (even though I'm not that good with her yet) I personally don't care too much for either version of Broly, but they are relatively easy to use.īardock is awesome, really like him. are they the only worth while purchases? i can get base with broly bardock fpr $20 or almost $30 for a ton of charactors i will probably never useĮh it all depends on your personal preferences really. which pass do you recommend? i knoe everyone want broly and bardock. Goku (SSGSS) and Vegeta (SSGSS) are both unlockable just by playing the game (you don't even have to do anything, you will eventually earn enough to unlock them) = no reason to buy them. The Fighterz edition includes the first batch of DLC charactersįighterz pass 3 is the third batch (with only one released so far) Street Fighter is a crossover 3D fighting video game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. SF seems to have lost some of that on it's way to 3D.īut then again "muh nostalgia" is heavy with StreetFighter, and not really with this game (though GuiltyGear is, and Dragonball as universe is as well) but nowhere near the level of SF in terms of fighting games.Originally posted by Joe Cool:The ultimate edition does NOT get you any extra characters! And that is somewhat what you have with this game. Dragon Ball FighterZ and Xenoverse 2 Cross the 10 Million Copies Mark as Capcom Records a Profit for the 6th Consecutive Year Dragon Ball FighterZ and Xenoverse 2 enter the 10 mil club. Lots of people discount the aesthetics of a game by saying "graphics don't matter" aesthetic exectution and graphics are not the same thing, when you have a game that looks as good at is plays, it multiplies on top of one another. The last decent SF game was 3rd Strike (and I suppose Ultra SF 4 now that it's a complete package), SFV is an utter mess, looks and plays like a snoozefest. Nice newbie friendly fight mechanics that dont rely on auto-combos and a diverse cast of characters. SFV had a rough start but its getting better with every patch. Its not a very good fighting game but has the Dragon Ball flare. ![]() With this game you can master controls pretty quickly (though there is a pretty surprising heavy naunce to them), also characters aren't too tough to master (though it's a 3v3 fighter, so learning three will help if you're planning on climbing ranks to the highest tier obviously), but you go straight into the mind games and reading opponents for the most part. DBFZ is fun at first but gets really boring due to repetitive combos and because a lot of characters feel the same. ![]() ![]() Simple,SF you have to first master controls then you have to master a character, then psycho-social element of the game during a match (the mind games, reading opponents and things of that nature).
